The resistor box is plugged in, but unplugging it and testing the harness end of the connector (6 green wires) gives me nothing (idk if that's normal or not) The injectors are positively getting battery voltage to the 6 harness clips. There's my 12v power.ĮvoScan connected flawlessly (and didn't randomly disconnect or act up at all) and I was able to actuate the injectors 'successfully'.kind of.ĮvoScan displayed a success message after a few seconds of actuating injectors 1-6, but I smelled no fuel at all from the cylinders. I ended up running a jumper wire from the batter directly to the small red wire on the small grey plug. ItTricky recommended I attack this problem when I have a clear mind, so this is what I'm trying to do.Īnyone have any starting tips? Optima Red shows 12.9v, Odyssey PC680 shows 13.3, and the battery out of my GF's Camry shows 12.9.the solid RED wire (ECU power wire) by the MFI relay is showing battery voltage respective of whatever battery I had in the car. I have also added a big ole fatty of a ground cable to the back of the intake manifold. The ECU grounds under the wiper motor have been improved by sanding the firewall down to bare metal in that spot. gįurthermore, I am getting a persistant "Less than 5v detected at cable" message.
I believe my biggest problem to be the fact that EVOScan is not giving me the option of selecting the MUTII 3000GT definition file from the dropdown menu even after I have put the file in the proper folder as seen here. I have installed version 1.422 as a result.

The installation of the latest version of ECU Flash (1.443721 from the EVOscan website, here () results in the failed installation of the included open port 2.0 drivers every time. So I decided to set up EVo Scan / ECU Flash to try and make the injectors at least fire off. The boost gauge jumps up to 0 psi when I turn the ignition to the "ON" position, and the tacho jumps around normally when I try cranking the car (which leads me to believe the cam angle sensor is working) I do have 50 psi rail pressure (via the gauge) but the spark plugs are dry and cylinders do not smell of fuel. I'm FINALLY ready to try and start my car after 2 years, and I'm not getting fuel out of the injectors. 91-92 Jester ECU w/ OBD1/2 adapter harness

I hit cancel when it asks to install the 1.3 drivers, then it brings me to the 2.0 driver screen, I hit accept, and it instantly says "failed") ECU Flash version 1.422595 (the latest ECU flash version fails to install the Open Port 2.0 drivers on my laptop, all the time, every time. Green 1993 VR4 ( I hate green) with 91-92 TT wire harnes.
